Section G: Important Events

When researching which course and institution to apply for, visiting the university concerned is invaluable.

This section provides a selection from three different types of event which are open to you, all tailored to suit your stronger interests and preferred location. These are:

• taster courses - two- or three-day events where you can experience university life
• open days - one-day visits to look at the university, its departments and facilities available
• education conventions - large one-day events attended by representatives of many universities
